ADULT MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
Our mental health programs are designed to meet the needs of those who are experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral issues. Services are provided by either Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Registered Counselor Interns, or Certified Mental Health Professionals.
Eligibility/Admission Criteria
- Adults 18 and over, experiencing a mental health problem.
- Community agencies, such as Family Support Services, Department of Children & Families, Department of Health, and Nassau County Court system may refer potential clients directly into our programs.
- Upon admission each person will receive a bio-psychosocial assessment to determine the presenting problem, diagnosis, and recommended treatment.

- The Goal of Adult Mental Health services is to utilize a strengths-based approach to equip adults with positive and healthy coping skills, enabling them to lead satisfying and productive lives.
