Starting Point Golf Tournament Benefits Programs for Mental Health Services in Nassau County

Registration for foursomes and individual players is now open for the 6th Annual Starting Point Golf Tournament on Monday, November 7, at Amelia National Golf & Country Club. The event starts with registration at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start and Noon and a scramble format. The event benefits mental health and substance abuse programs for children, teens, and adults at Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare.

The tournament also includes a cookout, awards ceremony and silent auction. Corporate and business sponsors are needed to support this event, and to donate items for the silent auction.

Sponsorships are available at four different levels and include player spots, dinner and beverages and sponsor recognition. Starting Point provides mental health and substance abuse services for children and teens, including school and home-based programs.

In addition to sponsorships, many local firms are supporting the event with Hole Sponsorships and donations to the Silent Auction. Each year, the Silent Auction includes donated items such as gift certificates to salons, golf courses and restaurants, as well as gift baskets, event tickets, merchandise and artwork.

For more information, contact Tournament Chair Cherie Billings at (904) 277-2995 or Email golftournament@spbh.org.
