Classes and Support Groups at Starting Point
Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare is pleased to offer the following community classes and support groups.
Women’s Empowerment Group
Becoming the best you can be is the goal and the theme of a new Women’s Empowerment Group launched by Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare in Yulee. The group meets on the main campus every Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 463142 State Road 200 in Yulee.
Topics for discussion in the group include: healthy relationships and characteristics of unhealthy relationships; recognizing abusive relationships; assertiveness training; stress reduction; creating balance and more.

Mental Health First Aid
Learn the warning signs and risk factors for mental health problems as well as things you can do to help someone having a mental health crisis. This 8-hour training class will teach you what resources are available in the community and how to assist a person with mental health problems. Specialized programs are available for children, law enforcement and military/veterans as well as general community mental health training.
