Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare and Barnabas Host Community Health Fair

Yulee, Fla.: Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare and Barnabas will host a ‘Spring into Health’ Health Fair on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 10AM – 2PM. The health fair will be in the adjoining parking lots of Starting Point and Barnabas’ Yulee New to You Resale Store located at 463142 SR 200, Yulee, FL, 32097. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this free community event.

The ‘Spring into Health’ health fair will feature 18 local and regional nonprofits that will provide free information about nutrition, mental health support, and much more. Vendors include Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare, Barnabas, Northeast Florida AHEC, Nassau County Council on Aging, Coalition for the Homeless of Nassau County, Family Support Services of North Florida, Inc., Tobacco Free Nassau, CREED, Florida Department of Health, Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida, Women’s Center of Jacksonville, NAMI of Nassau County, Micah’s Place, and Baptist Medical Center Nassau.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Starting Point’s Market Place Navigators to learn how they can get access to affordable healthcare coverage, meet with Barnabas’ Health Services Team, donate blood through OneBlood, and obtain free blood pressure screenings, blood sugar testing, and COVID/booster vaccines. Free food and refreshments will be provided as well as children’s activities.
