Yulee, Fla: On, August 17, 2022, CARF International announced that Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare has been accredited for a period of three years for its Mental Health Case Management/Services Coordination (Adults and Children), its Mental Health Adult Day Treatment, its Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders/Addictions Outpatient Treatment (Adults and children), and its Substance Use Disorders/Addictions Prevention (Adults and Children) programming. CARF identified multiple areas of strength including the organization’s strong board of directors, continual growth over the past ten years, and progressive strategies in providing and growing services, among many others. The latest accreditation is the 8th consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
