Road to Recovery is a group for adults who are working to overcome substance use and want support in early recovery.

Purpose & Goals

This group helps you understand what to expect in recovery and gives you tools to stay on track. You’ll learn ways to handle stress and keep moving forward.

Format & Approach

We meet once a week for open discussion, hands-on activities, and learning new skills. It’s a safe space to grow and get support.

Key Topics Covered

  • How to take care of your mental and emotional health

  • How to deal with stress and triggers

  • How to understand your thoughts and feelings

  • How to set goals for your recovery

What to Expect

You’ll be part of a caring group that understands what you’re going through.

Eligibility

To join this group, you must be 18 or older, have a substance use disorder, and be enrolled in a substance use or co-occurring program.

If you're new to services, feel free to ask about group therapy during your first visit. You can also stop by the front desk—our team will be happy to connect you with someone who can help!

If you are currently engaged in services at Starting Point, you don't need a specific diagnosis to join—but you will need a referral. Please speak with a member of your treatment team for assistance with enrollment.
