As a CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited facility, Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare has undergone a rigorous accreditation process consisting of an internal examination of program and business practices, on-site surveys, and annual documentation proving that we continually exceed quality standards.

Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare is proud to have earned and maintained CARF Accreditation since 2000. We currently hold a Three-Year Accreditation from CARF International in the following programs/services: Case Management/Services Coordination, Day Treatment (Adults), Outpatient Treatment for Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions, Outpatient Mental Health Treatment, and Prevention for Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions. What is CARF Accreditation?

CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services providers in the areas of Aging Services, Behavioral Health, Child and Youth Services, Durable Medical Equipment, Employment and Community Services, Medical Rehabilitation, Opioid Treatment Programs, and Vision Rehabilitation Services.

Programs and services that are CARF accredited have demonstrated their conformance to internationally recognized standards for service delivery. They have demonstrated their commitment to continuous quality improvement and a consumer-driven focus.
