Every day, hundreds of Nassau County residents wake up in dark rooms. Anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders are mood dimmers with no switch. Some escape these rooms temporarily by using alcohol, drugs, and other substances. Others never find an exit.

 

We are on a mission to change that.

National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Approved Site

We are an approved site through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC). The NHSC awards loan repayment up to $100,000 for eligible healthcare providers.

Starting Point employees can apply for the NHSC's Loan Repayment Program, the Rural Community Loan Repayment Program, and the Substance Use Disorder Workforce Loan Repayment Program.
