Purpose & Goals
This group helps you feel more comfortable talking with others, build confidence, and learn how to handle anxiety or big emotions—all through fun, guided role-playing games.
Format & Approach
We play a special role-playing game that helps you work on goals like feeling less anxious, making friends, and learning to speak up. It's fun, creative, and helpful at the same time!

How to talk and listen in a group
How to feel more confident
How to work as a team and solve problems
How to manage tough feelings
What to Expect
The group is small—only 6 people—so everyone has a chance to take part.
Eligibility
To join this group, you must be between 13 and 16 years old and working on goals related to social or communication skills.
If you're new to services, feel free to ask about group therapy during your first visit. You can also stop by the front desk—our team will be happy to connect you with someone who can help!
If you are currently engaged in services at Starting Point, you don't need a specific diagnosis to join—but you will need a referral. Please speak with a member of your treatment team for assistance with enrollment.
