Being Well Scheduled for Noon on February 25

Yulee, FL — Keto, Paleo, Low Fat, Low Carb – it seems there is no end to the number of ways we are told to eat to stay fit and healthy. But a constant focus on how our bodies look and what we are eating can contribute to low self-esteem and poor body image. From the images on television commercials to the pages of fashion magazines, we are constantly reminded how we “should” look.

The next Being Well, Starting Now will explore this topic in an online discussion starting at noon on Thursday, February 25. Led by mental health professionals, the open group conversation will take a look at how we define body image, the factors that lead to poor body image, and discussion about “diet culture.”

The event is free and open to anyone. For more information or to register, click here.
